Welcome to the children’s portrait project for future generations of Londoners
The Children Of London Project is the brainchild of world renowned advertising photographer Richard Bradbury. He is now searching for children across the city to appear in this iconic, historic, publication for 2024…
The book chronicles the lives of children, aged 0-12 years, living in London during one year. It features more than 150 images and is a hard back book measuring a huge 13 x 17 inches. It also comes in its own presentation box.
There are just 500 limited edition copies produced and each copy is signed and numbered by Richard in person. Copies 001, 002 and 003 are retained by His Majesty The King, The Prime Minister and The Mayor Of London.
Photographed throughout 2024 the project is completed from concept to print in just one year. It is published during the same year and creates a unique archive of how our children live in our capital city.
Richard is actively searching for representatives from all walks of life, from all backgrounds, in every London borough. All creeds, colours and ethnicities are welcome and don’t forget to include siblings.
Successful applicants will be photographed by Richard or one of his team and will then appear in the 2024 edition. In return for this opportunity you will be asked to make a donation of no less than £50 to Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.

"Richard is an amazing photographer, he immediately connects with the kids creating a fun environment to catch them at their best. He doesn't just capture an image but manages to catch their character too. The end result is more than just a photograph, really a piece of art to treasure." - Suzanne Briggs, Mother of Oliver & Charlie
