With over 25 years experience Richard Bradbury is regarded as one of the world’s top advertising / editorial photographers. He was awarded the title of Creative and Commercial Photographer of the Year for 2016 by The Master Photographers Association, Creative and Advertising Photographer of the Year from the SWPP for 2016 and was also presented with the coveted British Institute of Professional Photography BIPP award in the same year. In 2017 Richard received an AOP award for Editorial Photographer of the Year, and won an SWPP Gold Award and is now President for The Master Photographers Association.
Richard’s international reputation has lead to his work appearing on the cover of Time magazine in New York and Time Out in London. He has had features in View Stern magazine in Germany, XL Seminal magazine in Spain and Focus magazine in Italy. He has also had a 3 page feature in The Sunday Times’ renowned ‘Spectrum’ section which appeared to great acclaim.
Richard is well known in advertising circles for his billboard and press campaigns for blue chip clients around the globe. Tesco, NatWest, Channel 4, Samsung, Sony Playstation and Mars amongst many others have all employed his unique talents. More recently he has been travelling far and wide shooting for The Guinness Book Of World Records, creating amazing images of some of the world’s most incredible people.
Richard now lives in west London’s leafy Chiswick and is married with three lovely children. It is they who inspired him to create The Children Of London project whilst taking a few family snaps in Chiswick Park one wintery Sunday afternoon. Richard is extremely passionate about the book and recently stated: “I believe that The Children Of London is the most important body of work I have been involved in to date.”
