What is the Children of London Project?

The Children Of London is a published book archiving the lives of children aged 0-12 living in London during one year. Now in its twelfth year, copies are retained by Her Majesty The Queen, The PM and The Mayor of London. Award winning advertising photographer Richard Bradbury is searching for children to appear in this prestigious annual arts project for 2022.

How does it work?

What are we looking for?

Fill out an application online, the more unique the better! If you are successful someone will contact you within 21 days. Remember to include all children.

What does it cost?

In place of the usual £250 shoot fee all we ask is that no less than £50 is donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity via our Just Giving page.

What happens next?

Your professional photoshoot will last 2 hours. You will then be invited to our studio to view the shortlisted images for the book. Should you wish to reserve a copy.

About the Children of London project.

The Children Of London project has become a regular part of the London photographic arts scene. For the past decade it has charted the lives of children from different families living in our capital city. Stunning images are captured at locations all across the city during one year.

The final publication is a large, boxed, limited edition book and copies are retained by Her Majesty The Queen, the PM and the Mayor Of London amongst many other collectors throughout the world.

What are we looking for?

The Children Of London celebrates the diversity of all children across the city from different families and different backgrounds. If your children are aged between 0-12 in 2021, then apply now (and don't forget to include all siblings). We’ll be in touch to let you know if you are successful.
